I feel almost embarrassed that my blogs -- all three of them -- have been neglected for so long now. This one especially!
Work is still crazy, staffing levels and the consequent demands of the job being such that I am quite exhausted when I get home, so I just don't have the energy to write. So, while I have been doing a little reading again of late, the latest book having been read with the intention of reviewing it this weekend, I just can't seem to get enough head space to organize my thoughts and actually write the review. And I really did enjoy the book!
Hopefully soon, little by little, I'll manage to write meaningfully and more substantially again. What I have been doing in preparation, however, as I really want to get back into writing again, and learn to do so professionally, and get into editing as well, is to build my LinkedIn network.
The motivation is there, just not the time and energy. Wish me luck! And sorry about the lack of reviews, especially to those who sent me books for review over the past year or so.
