Part of the raison d'être of Wordwork|play, as indicated in the introduction, is to serve as a chronicle of sorts of my efforts, struggles, and successes on the way to becoming a successful freelance writer (more emphasis on process), the other being to serve as an excuse and platform for my writing (content). This post is about the former.
I recently became a contributing member of Blogcritics.org and submitted my first article to them. When I saw in my e-mail inbox a message from Blogcritics announcing that it had been published, I couldn't wait to get home to take a look at it. (Aside: I'm actually blocked from reading my online e-mail at work--apparently there is no valid business reason for doing so--but managed to rig my iGoogle homepage to include a box displaying at least the subject lines of new e-mails received.)
The article in question was first published on my blog. I have added a Blogcritics button on my sidebar that links to the site. In future, look for my writing here and there. You may visit the article directly, as it appears on Blogcritics here: Blood Donation: Discrimination Based on Sexual Orientation
Thanks for visiting my site.
